Rwanda "Rusenyi"

Roast Profile:  Medium dark
Flavor Profile: Rich, full body, pleasant citric taste, great aroma.
An absolutely delightful coffee!
Certification: fairly traded

Tree Frog Coffees is proud to offer this fairly traded Rwandan coffee.  Rusenyi coffee is grown on the shores of Lake Kivu in the Western Province.  Lake Kivu is the largest of numerous freshwater bodies that shimmer in the valleys of Rwanda.
This Rwandan coffee is in limited supply at this point due to many issues of this still troubled nation in East Africa. The Rusenyi has been voted the best among other coffee types for its high quality and excellent characteristics.

About this certified coffee:  Each bag has a certified paper trail leading back to the cooperative, confirming that the farmers received fair wages for their hard work.
